2020 Mercedes GLA Spied During Testing

The face-lifted version of the GLE has been spied and from the looks of it, the vehicle still maintains the SUV crossover. The ride height seems to have been increased but still maintains a low stance which was the main point of criticism in the previous generation. The new GLA will be based on the Mercedes Front Drive Architecture like its Siblings, the new A-class and the redesigned CLA. A plug-in hybrid is also in the works for a 2021 release.

Mercedes might offer its own variants with a new GLA35 with 302hp and the old GLA45 AMG with a mind-boggling 400hp. It will have some new internal interface features like the new digital screens for the infotainment and the instrument clusters as seen on the E-Class and the S-Class models. It comes with full touch capability and the option to use free speech as a way to control the most basic functions of the car.
