Sony Vision S
Yes, you read it right! Sony amazed everybody by unveiling an entire electric concept car. Sony named it Vision S and at first glance, it seems as competitor of Tesla. The maximum speed of electric sedan is 149mph and 0-60 mph sprint in less than five seconds. However, they didn’t disclose battery capacity and range.
Hyundai Flying Taxi For Uber
Hyundai’s electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) concept are almost ready to provide a flying taxi very soon. The Air taxi is being built for Uber under ride-hailing, Uber Elevate program. This program aims to provide Air Taxi to beat the road traffic and save time. Hyundai named it S-A1 and it can fly around 60 miles, holds the maximum speed of 180mph and can fly between 1000-2000 feet off the ground.
Mercedes-Benz Avatar-Inspired Concept Car
Mercedes Benz partnered with Film Maker James Cameron to create the Vision AVTR (Advance Vehicle Transformation). The inspiration for the car is based on Cameron’s Avatar. The battery of the vehicle is made of compostable materials and hence the car is positioned as a sustainable vehicle for tomorrow. A connected car that can sense your presence and interact with you like a living creature. The cockpit of car is egg-shaped and as you entered in it, it will start matching your breathing and heartbeat. There is no dashboard in the car as it senses your hand and arranges a control mechanism.
Fisker Ocean
Fisker also showcased Fisker Ocean in CES 2020 and very soon it becomes trending electric SUV in India as Fisker confirmed to launch it in India around 2025. The company also seems interested to set up an assembly unit in India as well. Fisker Ocean comes with 80kWh battery which provides a range of 480 Km. The 0-100 kmph Sprint can be achieved in just 3 seconds. The e- SUV Will come in both 2 Wheel drive and All-wheel drive modes. The torque and power figures are not officially revealed yet.
Plug-In Hybrid Wrangler, Compass and Renegade
Jeep announces Wrangler, Compass and Renegade will get a plug-in hybrid powertrain this year. The three vehicles will come with the brand’s new 4xe hybrid branding. The powertrain is still over the clouds and prices also remain unclear. There are speculations that the Hybrid Jeep Wrangler will be the cheapest version.
