Ashok Leyland Registers 6% Rise In Sales In May 2019

Ashok Leyland records 6 percent growth in domestic sales at 12,778 units for May 2019. Overall sales, including exports, dropped by 4 percent to 13,172 units during the month under review, from 13,659 units sold in the same month last year.

Its medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales also dropped by 14% at 8,946 units in May 2019 compared by 10,421 units in May 2018.

The sales of light commercial vehicles (LCV) rose by 31 percent to 4,226 units.
