Ather Energy Passes On The Benefits Of Lower GST To Buyers
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council, had decided to reduce tax rates on electric vehicles and Electric Vehicle chargers from 1 August. The Reduction in taxes has gone from 12% to 5% on vehicles and from 18% to 5% on electric vehicle chargers. Ather Energy has passed on the benefits to its buyers by reducing the prices of Electric Scooters – Ather 340 and Ather 450. Prices drop by INR 9000 for the Ather 450
The new on road price for Ather scooters are as below

At present, Ather scooters are available in Bengaluru and Chennai. Ather plans to begin operations in other major cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Pune and 30 other cities by 2023.
