LMG Manufacturing Unveils i-Force Plant In Hoym, Germany, In Partnership With BMW And Jaya Hind Industries

In collaboration with BMW and Jaya Hind Industries, LMG Manufacturing's new facility in Saxony-Anhalt underscores innovation and future-oriented mobility solutions, contributing to regional economic development and creating new employment opportunities

LMG Manufacturing GmbH inaugurates the i-Force plant in Hoym, Germany, in a collaborative venture between BMW and Jaya Hind Industries. The aluminium die-casting specialist LMG Manufacturing inaugurated its new production hall in Hoym/Seeland after just ten months of construction.

Sven Schulze, Minister for Economic Affairs, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry for the state of Saxony-Anhalt, says: “Due to its central location and proximity to major manufacturers, Saxony-Anhalt has long been an interesting location for companies in the automotive supply industry. The expansion of the location by LMG Hoym shows that the company is meeting the challenges of structural change in the industry with innovative solutions. I am very pleased that the state of Saxony-Anhalt contributed to implementing the project at such a rapid pace through timely approvals. This not only creates new jobs but also promotes further economic development in the region. This will accelerate our course and keep Saxony-Anhalt in the fast lane."

LMG Manufacturing GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of JHI International BV, which belongs to the Dr. Abhay Firodia Group of Companies from India. Located in East Germany, LMG Manufacturing GmbH caters to high-precision electromobility parts for its European customers.

The start of series production officially begins with the inauguration of the production hall. Within nine months, the number of employees increased from 140 to 240. LMG has thus developed into a significant employer in the region.

 

Markus Bauer, District Administrator of the Salzland district, says: “With the new production hall, LMG in Hoym is relying on innovative and future-shaping technologies in the field of mobility. As a supplier to renowned car manufacturers, the company is an excellent fit for the Salzland district as an attractive business, residential and scientific location.”
