Bounce Infinity, a new player in the electric scooter segment, had launched their first electric scooter E1 in December last year in Bengaluru and has now begun deliveries of the scooter.
They recently started the production of the E1 electric scooter from its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The facility will serve as the brand’s national manufacturing hub which has a capacity to produce over two lakh units in a year. Later this year, the company is also planning to put up another unit in South India with a capacity to produce more than five lakh scooters in a year.
Bounce Infinity E1 is pitted against electric two-wheeler makers like Ola Electric, Ather Energy, Hero Electric, Bajaj's Chetak, TVS Motor Company, PureEV, Ampere, and many more.
Specifications
The Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter gets a brushless DC motor with a removable 2 kWh lithium-ion battery. The company says that E1 can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 8 seconds and attain a top speed of 65 km/h. E1 electric scooter can run up to 85km on a single charge.
Design
In terms of Design, Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter looks like any other conventional scooter. Elements that make it stand out are the LED tail lamp, a circular LED headlamp with LED DRL (Daytime Running Light) and LED indicators.
E1 electric scooter comes in five colour options: Red, Black, White, Silver, and Grey.

The Bounce Infinity E1 is equipped with features like cruise control, power mode, reverse mode, and drag mode.
Battery
E1 packs a 2 kWh battery which the company says can power the scooter under all climatic conditions and can be fully charged in 4-5 hours via a regular charger.
Bounce is the first company to provide a battery as a service option where you get to buy the scooter at an affordable price, without actually buying the battery but by subscribing to their battery swapping network. The battery swapping network is being set up in 10 cities with a minimum of 300 battery swap stations per city.
Price
The price starts from Rs. 68,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). At this price, you get the battery and its charger to recharge the battery at your convenience. However, you can own the E1 electric scooter for as low as Rs. 36,099 depending on the state-wise ex-showroom price and the choice of buying the vehicle without the battery and subscribing to their battery swapping network instead. If you choose to be a part of their battery swapping network, then you need to pay Rs. 35 every time you swap a drained battery with a fully-charged one, it’s somewhat similar to how you refuel your conventional scooters.
