Ducati Unveils Sports Cruiser - XDiavel V4

XDiavel V4 will arrive in dealerships in November/December 2025

Ducati has introduced the XDiavel V4, the latest evolution of its Sport Cruiser. This new model blends MotoGP-derived performance with a cruiser riding position, delivering a striking combination of power, style, and comfort.

The XDiavel V4 builds upon the legacy of its predecessor, the XDiavel 1260, with a more muscular and high-performance design. It caters to riders seeking a unique motorcycle that stands out—whether for its aesthetics, cruiser charm, or dragster-like performance.

With muscular yet elegant lines, the bike features a low and relaxed riding position, offering both comfort and precise control. Whether cruising through city streets or tackling winding roads, the XDiavel V4 adapts effortlessly to any riding scenario.

Design

The XDiavel V4's sleek sport cruiser profile is complemented by a visually striking four-exit exhaust, inspired by high-performance supercars.

The muscular fuel tank stands out in two new colours: Burning Red and Black Lava, both designed to enhance the bike’s sculpted surfaces under different lighting conditions. The signature full-LED front and rear lights, with a distinctive double C-shaped DRL and integrated dynamic indicators, add to its unmistakable presence.

The single-sided aluminum swingarm showcases the five-spoke machined wheels, reinforcing the XDiavel V4’s connection to American muscle cars. The low 770 mm seat height and refined ergonomics improve rider control, while an enhanced passenger seat and standard grab handle ensure comfort for two.

Performance and Engineering

The XDiavel V4 is powered by the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, delivering 168 hp and 12.8 kgm of torque. This engine, derived from Ducati’s Desmosedici Stradale, combines linear power delivery with impressive torque throughout the rev range.

The counter-rotating crankshaft, inspired by MotoGP technology, enhances handling by reducing gyroscopic forces. Additionally, the extended deactivation system improves fuel efficiency by shutting off the rear cylinder bank at low speeds. The Twin Pulse firing order ensures a distinctive exhaust note, transitioning smoothly between twin-cylinder and four-cylinder operation.

Precision Handling

With a kerb weight of 229 kg, the XDiavel V4 is 6 kg lighter than its predecessor, thanks to the lightweight V4 engine and optimised chassis. The 50 mm fully adjustable fork and rear monoshock enhance ride comfort, while the 240/45 rear tire provides outstanding traction and acceleration.

The Brembo Stylema braking system with dual 330 mm discs delivers best-in-class stopping power, achieving deceleration levels typically seen in racing motorcycles.

Advanced Electronics and Connectivity

Ducati has equipped the XDiavel V4 with an extensive electronics package, including:

  • Four Riding Modes: Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet
  • Ducati Traction Control (DTC) Cornering
  • Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC)
  • Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS)

  • Cruise Control for highway comfort

The 6.9-inch TFT dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity allows riders to manage calls, messages, and music. The optional Turn-by-Turn navigation system, available via the Ducati Link App, enhances long-distance touring capabilities.

Ducati offers a range of accessories for riders who want to enhance the XDiavel V4’s touring or sporty character. Options include:
