Harley-Davidson Completes 10 Years In India, Launches Forty-Eight Special

Harley-Davidson India commenced operations in August 2009 and appointed its first dealership in 2009. The Company offers 17 models in its line-up in India. Harley-Davidson India adds to the long legacy of its Sportster motorcycle line with the introduction of the Forty-Eight Special model in India. The new high-bar Sportster combines throw-back styling trends from the custom-bike scene with the solid foundation of the Sportster platform and the punchy performance of the Evolution 1200 V-Twin engine.

At the launch event, Sajeev Rajasekharan, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson® India said, “Harley-Davidson was one of the earliest entrants in the premium motorcycle category in India. With the all new Forty-Eight Special, Harley-Davidson India takes its motorcycle line up to 17 Models”

The FORTY-EIGHT SPECIAL is Priced at INR 1,098,000/-.

The brawny front end of the Forty-Eight Special – a 130mm front tire framed by 49mm forks secured in massive forged aluminium triple clamps – looks especially menacing when topped with a gloss-black, 7.25-inch high Tallboy handlebar.
