HOP Electric To Begin OXO Electric Bike Test Rides From 25 Nov

HOP Electric will begin testing its OXO electric motorcycle on November 25, 2022. The OXO electric two-wheeler was introduced in September of this year by the Delhi-based manufacturer, with prices beginning at Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). 50 locations, including Jaipur, Delhi, and Pune, will provide test drives and advance reservations for HOP Electric vehicles. Before the launch, the company claims that it had already received over 10,000 interest forms and over 6,000 bookings for the OXO.

According to HOP Electric, the Ministry of Heavy Industries' FAME II's revised rules and the addition of additional standards and tests caused a delay in deliveries. Over 2,500 vehicles from the company's initial batch are prepared for manufacture. Once the necessary improvements have been completed to comply with the new standards, the company will begin to distribute these electric motorcycles. According to HOP, the OXO has received certification in 15 states.
