Lectrix EV, the e-mobility arm of SAR Group, recently launched its new electric scooter, NDuro. Designed to set new standards in urban mobility, the NDuro electric scooter boasts a sleek, sporty design tailored for modern urbanites and adventurers alike.

With 42 litre of boot space, it offers the largest storage capacity in its class, ensuring convenience for carrying daily essentials or adventure gear effortlessly. The E2W is available at an early bird price of ₹57,999, Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) for added convenience for the first 1000 customers.

Commenting on the launch of NDuro, Rakesh Malhotra, Founder of SAR Group, said “We wanted to launch an E2W that empowers consumers and redefines how we navigate our cities. NDuro does that. It surpasses expectations by offering a perfect balance of style, performance, and experience. As the urban landscapes evolve, NDuro will stand out as a statement of innovation. It is built for those who value both form and function.”

NDuro boasts a top speed of 65 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 5.1 seconds. With a tested gradeability of 16° (single rider), it comes in 2 battery options – a 2.3 kWh battery delivering an IDC range of 90 km, and a 3.0 kWh battery delivering a range of 117 km.

It also features advanced smart connectivity options – Efficiency Bar, Hill Hold, including standard features of live location tracking, emergency SOS, detailed ride analytics, and real-time theft alerts.

NDuro will ride on Lectrix, which is present in 120+ cities, 200+ dealer partners, and 200+ service centres in India. NDuro will also be available on Flipkart, offering customers easy EMI options.

Lectrix is a pioneer in Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model and plans to continue the same with NDuro at Rs. 59,999 with a battery subscription fee to further promote affordability and accessibility. The company offers two models under BaaS:

  • Battery Leasing: Customers can lease the battery monthly, reducing the upfront cost of a high-speed electric scooter by nearly 40 per cent.
  • Battery Swapping + Leasing: In addition to leasing, users can quickly swap batteries at swap stations, minimising range anxiety and downtime. This option ensures vehicles stay on the road without charging delays, making it ideal for fleet operators needing continuous, efficient mobility.

Lectrix has already deployed 10,000 batteries as service. The brand has 15,000 scooters and 30,000 3-wheelers on the road.
