Mercedes-Benz Launches Made-In-India EQS 580 4Matic At Rs. 1.55 Crore
The Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic has been introduced in India for Rs. 1.55 crore ex-showroom. The new Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic is the company's first electric vehicle to be built entirely from the ground up (CKD), and it is currently being domestically produced in India at the Chakan facility of the German manufacturer.
The third electric vehicle from the manufacturer in our market, it sits between the Mercedes-Benz EQC SUV and the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic flagship EV. The Mercedes-Benz EQB electric SUV, the company's fourth product, which will reach our shores in November of this year, will soon join it.
A 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and two electric motors that crank out a combined 523 horsepower and 856 Nm of maximum torque power the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic. In the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic+, the 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen commands attention. Three screens are hidden under a glass cover and appear to blend into one. The screen offers zero-layer functionality, which places the most crucial information at the top, and supports capabilities like 3D map display.
The Mercedes-Me linked car app, weather information, route planning to achieve the best possible range, a climate control interface, and the ability to play games on the screen are all other infotainment functions that are accessible through it. Active ambient lighting, a 15-speaker, 710-watt Burmester 3D sound system, and an Air Control Plus air purifier with a HEPA filter that removes 99.65 per cent of pollutants are some additional creature pleasures.The new EQS 580 4Matic is also available with a wide range of interior trim options from Mercedes-Benz.
