Switch Mobility Completes One Year In India
Formed in April 2021, an electric bus and light commercial vehicle company, Switch Mobility has completed its one year in India. The company says that over the last one year in India they have grown significantly with over 300 vehicles on the road and a significant forward order bank of over 650 buses and a further 1200 buses in the pipeline.
Switch has expanded to nine sites across three countries – the UK, Spain and India with an employee base of 774 people and in March 2022 Switch officially became carbon neutral certified and the first global bus manufacturer to achieve this.
The company is all set to unveil its new Indian eLCV in early 2023 and a new 12m bus for India. The deliveries will commence deliveries from June 2022. This vehicle will be equipped with the latest NMC battery technology and Switch’s digital tools.
