Zontes, a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, has introduced a line of 350 cc bikes in India that includes a selection of naked roadster, scrambler, sports tourer, and adventure tourer models. The BMW G 310 GS and the KTM 390 Adventure are two well-known competitors in India that the Zontes 350T and 350T ADV versions will face off against.
Priced between Rs. 3.37 lakh for the Zontes 350T and Rs. 3.57 lakh for the Zontes 350T ADV, both motorcycles are available in two colour variants. Both the Zontes 350T and Zontes 350T ADV are currently available for reservation for a fee of Rs. 10,000. Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), the business responsible for the Benelli and Keeway brands in India, will retail the bikes through the Moto Vault multi-brand outlets.
The Zontes 350T is a touring bike that is more suited to paved surfaces, whilst the Zontes 350T ADV is an off-road-capable type with wire-spoked wheels. Keyless ignition, an electrically adjustable windscreen, a remote fuel filler cap, a seat lock, a full-color TFT screen with a standard tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and many more industry-first technologies are just a few of the features that both bikes can brag of.
The identical 348 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine powers both bikes, producing 32.7 Nm of maximum torque at 7,500 rpm and 37.4 horsepower at 9,500 rpm. The bike has a typical slip and assist clutch and a six-speed constant mesh gearbox that is connected to the engine. The Zontes 350T has 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres to match its more road-oriented nature, while the 350T ADV has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. Dual-channel ABS is a standard feature on both models.
