Tata has gone all out with the Harrier, using premium materials for the interiors of The Harrier. Soft Touch dashboard, big infotainment screens.
The hyde used in Tata Harrier seats are of premium quality, the Seats are very comfortable. and the coffee brown color choice also means they wont get dirty early.
Tata Harrier comes with an 8.8" floating island type infotainment system. Apple Carplay and Android Auto is natively supported. The resolution is of the screen is high and lot of things can be customised from here.
IRVM of the Tata Harrier is manual, not expected from a car in this segment.
Tata Harrier comes with buttons for Driving modes, ECO, NORMAL and Sport, The fog lamp switches are also placed here in a not so ergonomic way.
Tata Harrier comes with physical buttons for the HVAC controls. The dashboard is nicely designed with soft touch leather on top, faux wood in the middle and satin silver at the bottom.
Good Quality materials have been used by Tata Motors in the Dashboard of the Harrier. Apart from the 8.8" infotainment screen, there are physical buttons for everything else.
Tata is moving with the digital trends and has given the Harrier a Hybrid console with a 7inch Screen and an analogue speedometer. The screen here provides a lot of information along with displaying the RPM of the motor. Navigation details are displayed in text here as well synced with the main infotainment system.
Tata Harrier gets a Chunky leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls on the left side and cruise control buttons on the right. The voice-based control button is also placed on the steering wheel. The Harrier also comes with Auto wipers and Auto Headlamps as standard.
The Harrier is based on the Tata Motors Impact Design 2.0 language. The Rear of the Harrier is very well designed, the D8 platform from Landrover which the Harrier is based on gives Harrier proportionate and a very masculine shape. The Tail lights are all LED and have a pseudo-wrap-around design. The rear wheel arches bulge out and give a proper squat stance to the vehicle. Rear Fog lamps are placed lower on the rear bumper. Harrier also comes with Rear wiper/defogger and Reverse Camera and sensors.
Tata Harrier looks like a proper SUV in the side profile. The wheels, The bulging arches, the glass area, the floating roof and clean shoulder lines makes the Harrier stunning to look at.
Tata Harrier is based on the Omega Arc Architecture and Land Rover's D8 Platform. The front of the Harrier is striking with DRL's on top of the headlight cluster. The LED DRLs dominate the frontal design of the Harrier giving it a very premium and futuristic face.
Tata Harrier comes with a Fiat-sourced Kryotech 2.0 diesel motor with 140hp. Currently only available in manual transmission, an automatic gearbox and AWD transmission is expected soon.
