Maruti Suzuki has now announced another recall of 11,177 units of its SUV Grand Vitara. The vehicles those are manufactured between 8 August 2022 and 15 November 2022 are recalled.
"It is suspected that there is a possible defect in Rear Seat Belt mounting brackets (“Parts”), which in a rare case, may loosen in the long run and impact its functionality," the company said in a statement.
Vehicle owners will receive get communication from the Maruti Suzuki authorized dealer workshops for inspection and replacement of the affected parts, free of cost.
This is a recall of vehicles for the second time in this year and earlier Maruti also announced the price increase of the vehicles by 1.1 per cent across all the segments.
