The 2023 TRK 702 series from Benelli has been introduced, and it includes two models: the TRK 702 and the TRK 702 X. This is similar to the 2023 TRK 502 range, which was also unveiled at EICMA 2022. With 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends wrapped in Pirelli Angel GT tires, the 702 is the more road-oriented of the two, while the 702 X has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Rally Tires.
A 698 cc liquid-cooled in-line two-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 75.1 horsepower at 8,750 rpm and 68.2 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm powers the ADVs. The gearbox, which has six speeds and a wet clutch, is mated to the engine. The motorcycle has 50 mm USD forks up front and a monoshock in back for suspension. A single 260 mm disc is used in the back and two 320 mm discs are used up front to control braking.
The design of the two ADVs is similar to that of Benelli's TRK line, with a twin-pod LED headlight perched on a beak that blends into the fairing. The bikes also come equipped with a windscreen and two knuckle guards for additional safety. Both models will be available in a number of liveries; the 702 X will be available in four liveries, including Anthracite Grey, Forest Green, Dune Sea, and Moon Grey, while the TRK 702 will be available in three liveries, Anthracite Grey, Forest Green, and Pearl White.
The motorcycle comes equipped with a 5-inch color TFT screen and bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, it has a built-in camera on its beak that can record videos and snap pictures. The two models will be introduced to markets outside of their home countries in the first half of 2023, although Benelli has not yet announced any plans to enter those markets.
