ChargeEZ has announced its partnership with ITPL, one of the tech parks in Bangalore. The collaboration is in line with the company’s vision to strengthen the ease and quality of EV charging infrastructure in the country.
ITPL is a symbol of the collaboration between the Indian government and the government of Singapore to develop world-class infrastructure in India. It’s managed by CapitaLand, which already has a partnership with ValetEZ to provide intelligent parking tech systems at Park Square Mall. ITPL’s collaboration with ChargeEZ will further strengthen the existing bond and offer ITPL’s tenants and visitors access to a reliable EV charging (both regular and fast) network at a moment’s notice.
“This partnership with ITPL is a great demonstration of our firm belief in the workplace being one of the anchors in the destination charging model pursued by ChargeEZ. Our focus through this partnership will be to deliver an affordable, reliable and safe EV charging experience for all EV users at ITPL,” said Prashant Chandrasekaran, COO of ChargeEZ.
ChargeEZ has currently deployed eight ChargeEZ EV charging stations across 1.1kW (for two-wheelers), 3.3kW (regular AC for three-wheelers and four-wheelers) and 7.2kW fast chargers (for four-wheelers). As the increase in oil prices and need to control tailpipe emissions continues to fuel the momentum for EV adoption in India, the company aims to add more charging stations in the coming months and years.
Since its start in early 2022, ChargeEZ has been at the forefront of building a network of more than 150 EV chargers in Bangalore. The company further aims to deploy charging stations in 10 other cities where it has already established its name through its smart parking tech network, ValetEZ.
