Gurpratap Boparai joins Mahindra & Mahindra, to lead the automotive business in Europe, which includes Automobili Pininfarina and Peugeot Motorcycles. This information reported by Autocar India is according to the company's internal memo that's being circulated to inform employees about the appointment.
Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director, Auto & Farm Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd tweeted saying "We are delighted to welcome Gurpratap Boparai to Mahindra - in a very exciting role"
Boparai has been behind the India 2.0 Strategy and the restructuring of the Volkswagen group in India and had resigned from his position as the Managing Director, ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India Pvt. Ltd. last month, after being with the company for three years.
