The new XPulse 200T 4V has been unveiled in India by Hero MotoCorp after the company teased it around a month and a half ago. The cost is Rs. 1,25,726. (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Along with the new four-valve (4V) engine that also powers the XPulse 200, it receives major design modifications. Along with amenities like turn-by-turn navigation, side-stand engine cutoff, LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, gear indicator, trip meter service reminder, and a USB charger, the engine produces 6 per cent more power and 5 per cent more torque.
The 200 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine produces 17.3 Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm and 18.83 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. A 5-speed gearbox is mated to the engine. Hero claims that the altered gear ratios offer greater power delivery and acceleration.
The motorcycle now features stronger graphics, Sports Red, Matt Funk Lime Yellow, and Matt Shield Gold colour schemes, as well as a neo-retro style. The new body-coloured cowl on top of the circular LED headlight has been lowered by around 20 mm and given a chrome ring. The engine head is now also body coloured. Rubber gaiters are added to the front 37 mm fork to give it a tough appearance. The motorcycle's cycle parts remain the same, with the exception of the new design and improved engine.
