Carmaker, JSW MG Motor India is set to roll out a new upgraded version of its best-selling electric vehicle, the MG Windsor. Named the Windsor Pro, this version comes with a larger battery pack and a range of upgrades aimed at keeping the Windsor ahead in the fast-growing EV market.
The Windsor Pro aims to build on the strong performance of its predecessor by adding new technology, better safety features, enhanced interiors, improved convenience, a refreshed design, and an upgraded battery.
The original MG Windsor gained wide popularity due to its combination of sedan-like comfort and SUV practicality. MG calls it India’s first “Intelligent CUV” — a crossover utility vehicle that blends style, space, and advanced features. The Windsor Pro will continue in that direction, but with more choices for today’s evolving car buyers.
The Windsor Pro is expected to appeal to buyers looking for a modern EV with both luxury and practicality — a formula that has worked well for MG in recent years.
"With growing customer demand for feature-rich vehicles, we are responding with the Windsor Pro," the company said in a statement, positioning the new model as a smarter and more premium option in the EV market.
The company has confirmed that the Windsor Pro will be officially launched on May 6, 2025. With this launch, JSW MG Motor wants to strengthen its leadership in the electric vehicle segment by offering more value and innovation to customers.
