The SR125 is the latest motorcycle that Keeway has introduced in India. The SR125 belongs to the 125cc commuter motorbike market and is priced at Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It has a retro-inspired look. The firm has launched seven products for the Indian market in the previous five months, with the SR125 serving as the new entry point.
Glossy Red, Glossy White, and Glossy Black are the three colours that the Keeway SR125 is available in. With its wire-spoke wheels, dual-purpose tyres, single pod instrument cluster, and plain round light clusters, the SR125 successfully executes a retro-inspired look. The single-piece ribbed seat, front telescopic gaiters, and twin-shock rear suspension all contribute to the retro-inspired appearance.
A 125cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine produces 8.2 Nm of maximum torque at 7,500 rpm and 9.5 horsepower at 9,000 rpm to power the motorbike. The device is coupled with a 5-speed transmission. Standard-fit disc brakes with a 300mm unit up front and a 240mm unit at the back provide stopping power. The motorcycle is equipped with combi-braking. The SR125 only weighs 120 kilograms and has a 14.5-liter gasoline tank.
According to Keeway, reservations are presently being taken, and deliveries will begin before the end of October. One thousand rupees is the fixed deposit amount. Only the 125 Duke is more expensive than the SR125, which is priced differently from the bulk of 125cc motorcycles now available on the market. The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V and the Honda X-Blade are two 160cc motorcycle options that are similarly priced.
