KIA Seltos has spotted during a TV commercial shoot abroad. The ‘4WD’ badge on the boot implements that Kia could offer the Seltos with an all-wheel drive system. The Seltos sits on 18-inch wheels that are wrapped in 235/45-section tyres.
Its seems KIA Seltos will feature all-LED headlights that are accompanied by LED light bar placed directly in the Tiger Nose style front grille. Kia is expected to offer the Seltos with a set of new 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines from the Hyundai family in India. A 6-speed manual will be standard, alongside the dual-clutch automatic. According to some reports, KIA is also working on a sportier version of the SUV that will feature 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 140HP while being mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
It is expected that SUV will be loaded with premium class features including a touchscreen infotainment system, in-car Wi-Fi, 360-degree camera to name a few. The official sketch released by KIA indicates that the SUV will get a drive mode selector feature as we can spot the “Offroad” badging on top. The KIA Seltos is all set to launch on 20th June in India. The SUV will take on the likes of the upcoming MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta and Nissan Kicks.The expected price of Kia Seltos will be between Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
