Mahindra is reading its must-awaited XUV400 electric vehicle to launch on 8 September. Expectations are that Mahindra’s this EV can capture a good market in the auto sector by giving a tough rivalry to EVs in this segment and price range. Mahindra unveiled this EV project for the first time at the auto expo 2020. Currently, Nexon is looking like the ruler of the electric vehicle auto market.
Due to the launch of this car customers will have a choice between Nexon EV, Nexon EV Max, Tiago EV, and also XUV400 upper variant may compete with its another rival MG ZS EV. The expected price of the car is in the range of 14 to 16 lakhs. XUV400 is based on the concept of a subcompact SUV like a regular XUV300 but talking about the features XUV400 will surpass XUV300 for sure.
According to reports, Mahindra will place two battery options and it is expected that the large batteries will help the car to go up to 400 km. Bigger length, bigger boot spaces, projected headlamps, and L-shaped DRLs with twin peaks logo will be seen in the new XUV400EV.
