Manasi Tata, the daughter of Vikram Kirloskar, has been named the new vice chairperson of Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), the company stated today. She will also take over as Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts' vice chair (TKAP).
The company's board of directors approved the resolution relating to Tata's nomination. On November 29, Kirloskar, the former vice chairman of TKM, passed away due to cardiac arrest. He was 64.
Tata already held a position on the TKM Board of Directors. She plays a crucial role in the strategic operations and corporate choices of the company, according to a formal statement from TKM.

Domestic wholesale volumes for TKM were 160,357 units in 2022, up 22.63 per cent from the 130,768 units sold in 2021. In the previous ten years, the company's sales in 2022 were at their peak. The best-ever domestic wholesale volumes for TKM were 172,241 units in 2012.
