Maruti Suzuki Intends To Raise The Cost Of Its Vehicles From January 1, 2024

India's largest car manufacturer and distributor, Maruti Suzuki, intends to raise its car price from the very beginning of the new year.

The company justified the price increase by pointing to rising inflationary pressures and commodity prices. Maruti Suzuki did not reveal the specific number of the price hike.

Maruti Suzuki offers a variety of automobiles, such as the multipurpose vehicle Invicto and the entry-level small car Alto. These vehicles' ex-showroom costs start at Rs 3.54 lakh to Rs 28.42 lakh.

Prior to this, Maruti Suzuki raised the cost of its passenger cars by 0.8 per cent across models on April 1, 2023.

Audi India also revealed a two per cent price increase in a related development, citing an increase in operating and supply chain expenses.
