Small cars face difficulties:

Bright Spots in Utility Vehicles and Vans:
Despite difficulties in small car segments, Maruti Suzuki found success in utility vehicles (UVs) and vans.
The UV segment, which includes models like Ertiga, Brezza, Fronx, Grand Vitara, and Jimny, reported a robust 50 per cent increase in sales, reaching 49,016 units compared to 32,563 units in 2022.
The Vans segment, represented by the Eeco model, saw positive growth as well, with sales increasing to 10,226 units from 7,138 units the previous year.
Commercial and Export Segments:
In contrast, sales of the Super Carry in the commercial vehicle segment were down, with 2,509 units sold compared to 2,660 units in November 2022. However, there was a bright side in the form of a 16.27 per cent growth in exports.
