MG Motor India Sells 5125 Units In June 2023; Registers 14% YoY Growth
British automobile manufacturer owned by Chinese state-owned automaker SAIC Motor, MG Motor sold 5,125 units in the month of June 2023 in India. This represents an uptick over June 2022 retail sales figures of 4,504 units.
A QoQ growth of 40 per cent over the AMJ 2022 (Q2 2023 -14,682 units and Q2 2022 - 10,519 units) and YoY growth of 14 per cent.
The company says that the supplies were disrupted in the wake of cyclone Biparjoy though customer demand should now gain momentum following the monsoons as India gears up for a long festive season.
