The British automotive marque, now owned by the Chinese company SAIC Motor, MG Motor has reported 4,008 units of retail sales in May 2022 in India.
The company has registered a growth of 99.6 percent over the previous month with 2008 units sold in Arpil 2022 and a growth of 294.5 percent as against 1061 vehicles sold in May 2021.
The growth comes as a result of the improvement in chip availability and the carmaker hopes the situation will improve further in the subsequent months, although the production remains impacted due to the global Covid-19 lockdown.
