In Maharashtra, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari dedicated and laid the cornerstone for 5 National Highway projects totalling 1,575 crore rupees in length at Nanded, 1,058 crore rupees in length at Parbhani, and 1,037.4 crore rupees in length at Hingoli.
These initiatives would increase the Marathwada region's connectivity to Telangana and Karnataka.
Together with connecting holy sites and encouraging tourism, the projects will contribute to enhancing industrial and agricultural development.
The national highways inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari are worth Rs 3,670 crore in Maharashtra.
