Olectra Greentech, an electric mobility company, has pledged to contribute INR 17,26,664 to PM CARES – Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations – a fund created to fight against the pandemic COVID-19. Out of the total corpus, all the employees of the organization are contributing their one day’s salary totaling INR 7,26,664 while INR 10,00,000 has been added by the company for the purpose. It is also to note that Olectra’s parent company MEIL has already contributed INR 13 Crores to various State Governments.
At a time when India is combating the virus by staying at home and maintaining social distance while following personal hygiene all the time, the doctors, the police department and the other government arms are extending their great service to the nation. As a social responsibility, the company that is committed to the sustainable environment in the country, Olectra Greentech has decided to contribute its bit to the society, said the company.
