Renault Kwid Crosses 3-Lakh Sales Milestone

Renault has announced that its flagship brand KWID, has crossed the 3-lakh sales milestone in India. Renault KWID continues to be a major disruptor in India’s mini-car segment. Having played a key role in the growth of the Renault brand in India, Renault KWID also become one of the most successful ‘Make in India’ stories, and is a volume-driver for Renault India.

With KWID, Renault wanted to provide Indian consumers with a compact hatchback that would set new paradigms in accessible mobility, while catering to evolving customer expectations. This was enabled by launching a car with better design, styling and good value proposition. KWID offered a host of equipment and features, which redefined the segment. These include the 7-inch touchscreen Media NAV system, digital Instrument cluster, one-touch lane change indicator, speed dependent volume control to name a few.

The high ground clearance of 180mm makes it a very practical option for Indian roads. Powering the Renault KWID range are the 0.8 litre and 1.0 litre engines. KWID’s Easy-R Gear Box is a 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), 

It comes with a 4 year / 1 lakh km (whichever is earlier) warranty along with Roadside Assistance at no extra cost. This includes the regular 2 years / 50,000 km comprehensive warranty along with a complimentary additional 2 years / 50,000 km extended warranty, enabling customers to enjoy an unparalleled brand ownership experience.

It is available in 6 color options - Fiery Red, Planet Grey, Moonlight Silver, Ice Cool White, Outback Bronze and Electric Blue for the KWID Climber.
