In November 2022, Royal Enfield reported total sales of 70,766 units, largely due to its success in the Indian market. While exports decreased from 6,824 units in November 2021 to 5,006 units, the two-wheeler company sold 65,760 units domestically, a 47 per cent increase over 44,830 units a year earlier (down 27 per cent). The company reported overall revenue growth of 37 per cent year over year.
After a strong performance in October 2022, Royal Enfield suffered a decrease in sales month over month. 82,235 units were sold, which was a record high for the bike maker due to the festive season. Domestic sales decreased by 14.5 per cent from 76,528 units in October while exports decreased by 12.3 per cent from 5,707 units.
The company, however, has grand goals for the future, including numerous models spanning platforms planned for the Indian and international markets. The new Super Meteor 650 was just presented by the bike maker, and numerous other 650 cc-powered versions are also in the works. Motorcycles on a brand-new 450 cc engine and more 350 cc platform variants are also in the works.
