Shailesh Chandra Takes Over As SIAM President

The Executive Committee of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the apex body representing the country’s automobile manufacturers, has elected Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, as it’s new President for 2024-25.

Shailesh Chandra, who previously served as the Vice President of SIAM, succeeds Vinod Aggarwal, Managing Director & CEO of Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles.

The new office bearers were elected during the Executive Committee Meeting held yesterday.

The members of SIAM also elected Shenu Agarwal, MD & CEO, Ashok Leyland, as the Vice President of SIAM for 2024-25.

Satyakam Arya, CEO & MD, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles was elected as the Treasurer of SIAM for 2024-25.
