The Kratos electric motorcycle is now being delivered by Tork Motors in Mumbai, Maharashtra. From its Pune headquarters, the business promised to deliver the first batch of motorcycles before Diwali. In January 2022, the business released the Kratos and Kratos R pricing range. Priced at Rs. 1.22 lakh for the Kratos and Rs. 1.37 lakh for the Kratos R (both prices after subsidies in Maharashtra). While the Kratos R comes in white, blue, red, and black, the Kratos is only offered in white.
Since the T6X prototype was originally unveiled in 2016, the electric motorcycle has been in development for six years. A 7.5 kW electric motor that produces 10 horsepower and 28 Nm of peak torque powers the Tork Kratos. The electric motorcycle has a top speed of 100 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in four seconds.
The vehicle has a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which the manufacturer claims have a genuine range of about 120 km on a single charge but advertises an IDC range of 180 km. A 9 kW electric motor inside the more potent Tork Kratos R produces 12 horsepower and 38 Nm, 10 Nm more than the original model. Additionally, the bike has fast charging capabilities and can charge up to 80% in 60 minutes. The 0-40 kmph sprint time is unchanged, but the top speed is increased to 105 kmph. Customers of the Kratos R will also receive complimentary use of the charging network for a two-year period in addition to features like geofencing, find my vehicle, crash warning, track mode and analytics, vacation mode, and more.
In addition to providing delivery, repair, sales, and spares to customers' doorsteps as part of its Pit Crew Van project, the firm started delivering motorcycles to consumers in a distinctive 1:1 size box.
