Toyota Glanza Spotted In Its Full Glory, Ahead Of Official Launch
The spy pictures seem like they have been shot at a Toyota Dealer basement parking also giving us a glimpse into what would the Baleno look like under the Toyota Branding. On the exterior there are very minor changes like the twin slated grille in the front with the Toyota Badging, rest of the front is identical to the Baleno.
The same theme continues at the rear, with only changes in the badging along with variant badging on the right side. Going by the Toyota nomenclature, the Glanza will be available in two variants – The Top end variant as the "V" model and the base variant as the "G" model. We expect Toyota to some minor changes in the interiors as well.
The latest 1.2L Dual-jet petrol engine in the Maruti Suzuki Baleno is expected to power the Glanza as well, Diesel power is unlikely as the Fiat sourced 1.3L DDIS engine is on the way out from Maruti’s stable.
Toyota Glanza will be positioned above the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, while Toyota could sweeten the deal with Toyota Warranties. The Glanza will directly rival the Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz, Volkswagen Polo, and the upcoming Tata Altroz.
