The Hilux pick-up has been updated by Toyota India. The Hilux is offered in Standard and High varieties, with the Standard MT type now costing Rs. 3,59,000 lesser. High MT and High AT variants have seen price increases of Rs. 1.35 lakh and Rs. 1.10 lakh, respectively. As a result, the Hilux's starting price has been adjusted to Rs. 30.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
The second batch's bookings were reopened earlier this year, but the ex-showroom costs remained unchanged. The Hilux competes with the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross and features a double cabin, a strong front fascia, LED projector headlamps, and chrome highlights on the front grille.
Mechanically, the Hilux uses the Fortuner's 2.8-litre diesel engine, which has a maximum output of 420Nm and 210bhp. The six-speed manual and six-speed automatic gearboxes are available transmission choices for the Hilux, which comes standard with four-wheel drive.
The revised variant-wise prices of the new Toyota Hilux are as follows
Toyota Hilux Standard 4x4 MT - Rs 30.40 lakh
Toyota Hilux High 4x4 MT - Rs 37.15 lakh
Toyota Hilux High 4x4 AT - Rs 37.90 lakh
