Toyota has introduced the all-new fifth generation of its Prius. The car is getting three powertrain options such as a plug-in hybrid set up which will be used in Europe only, and the other two full hybrids will be available in other countries such as Japan and North America.

The powertrain of the car for European has a 2.0 litre four-cylinder engine which can generate 220hp. The company is providing a battery of 13.6kWa which will be located beneath the rear seats. Toyota has claimed that the range of Ev has also increased from 60 km to 90 km. and there will be a plug-in with an optional solar roof panel.
However, the powertrain of the car for Japan and North America has a 1.8 litre and a 2.0 litre petrol engine with a hybrid which can generate 194hp and both variants will feature Toyota” E-Four AWD tech.
At the rear, this car has a full-width LED light bar and it has a wider, lower, and longer wheelbase but is shorter in length than the current Prius. The dash contains warning systems and has an ambiance light to alert the driver when objects are detected closer to the car. The car has got the latest safety sensors that include a monocular camera at the front, an in-vehicle drive recording camera, and a rear-facing camera. Toyota Teammate system allows consumers to park their cars from the remote function due to Advance Park.
