TVS Motor has introduced the update of TVS Raider 125 in India at a price of Rs 99,990. This bike is India’s first commuter bike coming with a five-inch TFT screen and has got TVS ‘SmartXonnect’ technology. Mostly these features are seen in premium bikes, but now it's offered in TVS Raider 125.
This TFT instrument cluster shows trip meters, odometer, time, fuel gauge, riding mode, gear position and average speed. It is a Bluetooth-enabled system that helps riders to review their driving style. Also, there is a voice and navigation assist and an incoming call feature.
The Raider 125 gets two riding modes, Eco and Power. Power mode in the bike offers 10 percent more power at the top end. The bike has a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine that makes 11.2 bhp at 75,00rpm and 11.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine has paired to a five-speed gearbox. With these engine specifications, the bike has the best-in-class acceleration of 0-60 kmph in 5.9 seconds and can go up to 99 kmph.
This new TVS Raider 125 will be available in two colours such as Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow. This TVS wheeler is going to compete with Hero Glamour XTEC and Honda SHive Sp.
