Upcoming Cars In September Line Up: Citroen C5, Venue N Line, Grand Vitara

The year 2022 seems like a transforming year for the auto industry. So far the year has witnessed a huge number of launches of cars. Also, the sale numbers of vehicles show the auto industry is recovering from the hit by Covid-19 and the storage of semiconductors. The upcoming festive season will also witness the new launches of different cars.

Maruti Suzuki and Toyota are all set to launch their hybrid Support Utility Vehicle (SUV), i.e Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder till mid by September. Hyryder will give a mileage up to 28KMPL in the hybrid system, with the all-wheel-drive option. Grand Vitara doesn’t have much difference from Hyryder. Both are all most the same with slight changes in interior and exterior along with few features. These cars will compete with Creta and Seltos. Talking about the cost of both cars, it will start in the range of 9.50 lakhs.

Citroen C5 Aircross facelift has been officially teased by Citroen and the launch is going to be on 7 September. The new C5 will get a new cosmetic overhaul and features. The price of the car is likely to be in the range of 38 Lakhs. However, the engine will remain the same but the car will get advanced driver assistance and active safety (ADAS). ADAS prevents forward collision and lane-keeping assistance.

Maruti Suzuki is reading its S-Cross 2022 to launch anytime time soon near 15 September, within a price range of 10 to 13 lakhs. New S-Cross will have a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine that develops 129 PS horsepower and 235 Nm torque with an all-wheel drive option. New-gen S-Cross will have a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, sunroof, 360-degree camera, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

To give competition to the XUV300 sportier Kia and Hyundai are also planning to launch their sportier version of Sonet and Venue. Venue N line will be launched by 6 September in a price range of 12 lakhs. The engine of Venue N Line will be the same as Normal Venue but there will be changes in steering wheel suspension and exhaust note. Whereas Kia Sonet X Line will be the same as regular Sonet having slight changes in exterior within a range of 12 lakhs.
