Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has reported a growth of 31 per cent in its sales performance in July 2023 (vs July’22). The company has attributed this to the overwhelming demand for its India 2.0 product portfolio – Taigun & Virtus and its flagship SUVW Tiguan.
In the first half of the year, Volkswagen introduced new variants, its much-awaited GT Plus Manual on the Virtus & Taigun and the GT DSG on Taigun & Virtus. The Brand also introduced its exclusive GT Edge Collection.
Commenting on the performance, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said “Volkswagen India is on a growth path and a testament of it, is the continuous popularity received by the Taigun & Virtus. Our customers have placed an unwavering trust in our Brand as we offer them the safest product portfolio that is German-engineered with a fun-to-drive experience.”
