Swedish carmaker, Volvo Car’s second fully electric car C40 Recharge has received 100+ bookings within the first month of its launch in India. Volvo stated in a press release that they are making all efforts to deliver these cars at the earliest.
The company had launched the car at an introductory price of Rs. 61.25 lakh, now the company has revised the price to 62.95 lakh (ex-showroom) with immediate effect.
Seeing the great response, the company has decided to offer XC40 only in its all electric variant, “Recharge” for customers.

XC40 Recharge boasts a WLTP Range of 418 km & 550 km as per ICAT testing on a single charge.
The C40 Recharge is the second EV model from Volvo in India to be assembled at the Company’s plant at Hosakote in Bengaluru, Karnataka and it comes with an 11kW charger. The C40 Recharge is only sold online directly by the Company.
