Volvo Car India has reported 31 per cent increase in overall sales in the year 2023 compared to the previous fiscal year. The company delivered 2423 cars in 2023, compared to 1851 units delivered in the corresponding year. The locally assembled all-electric XC40 Recharge sold 510 units during this period.
Additionally, the XC60 emerged as a top-selling model, resulting in 921 deliveries in 2023. C40 Recharge has reported growth to 180 units in the year. Kerala and Tamil Nadu markets show encouraging BEV acceptance, surpassing 100 deliveries each.
