The pictures of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class in heavy camouflage have come across to us many times but this time, the pre-production model of the sedan is spied with no camouflage, and this is the clearest set of images of the car that we have seen so far. Both exterior and interior shots are revealed and here we decoded it for you.
The front of new-gen S-Class looks similar to the E-class facelift that was revealed in March this year. It got the similar-shaped slim LED headlights that are surrounded by DRLs. The Grill with three horizontally placed chrome slats makes it more upright. The front fascia of a new-gen sedan looks like an updated E-class at first glance.
Coming to the rear section, the new S-Class seems to be equipped with wraparound LED tail lamps, similar to what we have seen in upgraded E class. Situated above the top of the tail lamps is a chrome bar that highlights the width of the car.
Unlike outside, the inside section of new-gen S-Class gets lots of unique updates. The interior in spied pictures gives the sneak peek about the futuristic approach of the luxury carmaker. It gets a standalone infotainment screen at the dashboard which seems replacing the physical buttons and a stacked free instrument cluster.
The spied set of pictures also reveals the new flat-bottom steering wheel which looks futuristic yet appealing. The two individual spokes also seem to integrate touch controls for the sedan. A total of eight AC vents are easily visible on the dashboard.
The new flagship sedan from the three-pointed star appears to have a rather evolutionary exterior design but a revolutionary and modern-looking interior layout. We can expect to the Big Benz come to India in late 2021.
