2025 Toyota Camry Makes India Debut At Rs. 48 Lakh; Gets Design, Features Upgrades

Japanese carmaker, Toyota has officially launched the 2025 Camry in India. The car gets significant design and features upgrades, reaffirming Toyota's commitment to delivering premium, eco-friendly sedans to the Indian market. 

The first-generation Camry made its debut in the year 2002 and since then, the Company has sold more than 25 million units in 100+ countries.

Design and Features

The 2025 Camry boasts a refreshed exterior design, featuring a tall & wide front grille, sleeker LED headlamps with DRLs, and dynamic 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the sedan offers a luxurious cabin with soft-touch materials, wood accents, and ambient lighting.

A standout feature is the new 12.3-inch Multi Information Display (MID) along with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The sedan is also equipped with a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a wireless smartphone charger, and a heads-up display.

The 2025 Toyota Camry also comes with High Solar Energy Absorbing (HSEA) UV-Cut glass, Automatic retractable outside rear-view mirrors (ORVM) with turn signals, auto-reverse tilt, and a seamless driving experience.

The sedan is available in four new shades—Precious Metal, Dark Blue, Cement Grey, and Emotional Red—in addition to existing options like Attitude Black and Platinum White Pearl.

Engine & Performance

The 2025 Toyota Camry comes equipped with a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder 5th generation hybrid electric engine, paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (e-CVT). The hybrid system generates a combined output of 218 PS, ensuring a seamless blend of power and efficiency. An optimally tuned MacPherson strut suspension (Fr) and multi-link type (Rr) has been adopted, in pursuit of ride comfort and enhancing the handling performance.

Safety Upgrades

Toyota has made significant strides in safety with the 2025 Camry. The car includes Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which features adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring. Additionally, the sedan is equipped with 9 airbags, along with a 360 Panoramic Rear-View Monitor.

Market Position and Price

The Camry Hybrid has long been a favorite among environmentally conscious buyers who refuse to compromise on luxury. The 2025 model is priced at ₹48 lakh (ex-showroom).
