Hyundai Motor India Ltd, registered domestic sales of 33 087 Units a 34% drop compared to the September 2020 where the company sold 50,313 units. Meanwhile exports for the carmaker grew by 32% at 12 704 units, from 9600 units in September last year. HMIL forms a critical part of HMC’s global export hub. It currently exports to around 88 countries across Africa, Middle East, Latin America, Australia, and Asia Pacific. The company registered a 23% drop in cumulative sales at 45 791 units for the month of September 2021, while in September 2020 the company reported a 59,913 units of total sales.
“The global semi-conductor supply constraint has adversely affected the vehicle production resulting in low dispatches in the month of September 2021.” The company said in a statement
