Ashok Leyland has reported a 19 percent drop in total vehicle sales at 12,810 units in June compared to 15,792 units in June last year.
Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) sales in the domestic market dropped by 19 percent at 7,780 units in the previous month, as compared to 9,616 units same month year ago.
Light commercial vehicle sales dipped by 4 percent and stood at 4,305 units a previous month as compared to 4,475 units in June last year, the company said.
Total domestic sales dropped by 14 percent and stood at 12,085 units in June 2019 against 14,091 units in the same month last 2018 it added.
