Bajaj Auto Ltd has posted a decline of 21 per cent YoY in its domestic motorcycle sales in December. Bajaj Auto solds 124,125 motorcycles in December as compared to 157,252 units in the same month a year back.
Bajaj Auto records 13 per cent rise in exports to the 160,677 unit against 141,603 unit same month last year.
The total motorcycle sales in December declined by 5%.
Bajaj Auto’s domestic commercial vehicles sales increased but exports witnessed a decline.
The company said its domestic commercial vehicle saw a steep rise by 26 per cent to 29,038 units against 23,099 in same month last year. The exports also declined 8% from 24,245 units in December previous year.
