BMW has revealed the launch date of its Uplifted 7 Series and all-new X7 SUV in India. The launch has been scheduled for 25th July. The all-new BMW X7 will be positioned as flagship SUV after the BMW X5.
The BMW X7 will be based on the CLAR platform and will be equipped with slim LED headlamps and muscly bumper with wheel arches. The X7 could be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. Petrol engine options might include the 3.0-liter, in-line six-cylinder petrol with 335 bhp and a 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 petrol with 456 bhp. In diesel, it might get 3.0-liter six-cylinder with 256 bhp, along with a robust 400 bhp version.
Let's talk about 7 Series Facelift, It will get 40 percent bigger kidney grille compared to the existing model. The bonnet of the car will be massive like we have seen in the on-going model but it gained some more muscles. Headlights will be slim and from the side profile, it will look similar to the model that we have now.
The top-end M760 variant might get, new 6.0-litre, V12 motor which produces 592 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque. The 4.4-liter, V8 motor which churns out 516 bhp and 750 Nm of peak torque engine option that can push the car to 100 Kmph in 3.9 seconds. There will be 3.0-liter, in-line six-cylinder engine which churns out 276 bhp and Peak torque of 450 Nm and will be mated with an electric motor which will provide a combined power output of 384 bhp.
