India’s premium cycling company, Firefox Bikes has launched ‘Firefox Urban Eco’, India’s first app-controlled e-bike.
The bike conforms to and comes with European standards in design & features, city-specific ergonomics and geometry with flat handlebars equipped with ergonomic grips, a hydraulic disc brake, and a single power button for enhanced ride and convenience. Equipped with a 10Ah Battery Capacity to provide mileage up to 90 km on Pedelec Mode, Urban Eco delivers top speed of 25km/hr. The bike requires 5 hour for a full charge.

The e-bike is available in grey colour. The e-bike is available across Firefox COCO stores as well as the brand’s website.
The compay says that Firefox Urban Eco is a future-ready smart bike that is based on path-breaking German technology and the design holds certifications by CE, REACH & RoHS.
The e-bike is fully controlled through the Firefox Fitt app. Users can keep a track of the speed, distance covered, calories burnt, and heart rate on the Fitt App while having an option of 5-pedal assist modes to choose from, depending on the terrain.
Electric cycles essentially offer the convenience of electric propulsion as assistance along with pedal power. According to Fortune Global Insights, the global e-bike market currently stands at $40.16 billion and is expected to grow to $92.19 billion by 2029 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.6 percent.
