Fuel Prices Hiked For Seventh Straight Day; Petrol At 110 In Mumbai

There seems to be no coming down as fuel prices saw a hike for the seventh consecutive day on Monday.

Prices of Petrol and Diesel went up by 0.30 (at Rs 104.44/litre) and Rs 0.35 (at Rs 93.17/litre) in Delhi today respectively. In Mumbai, petrol is now priced at Rs 110.41/litre (up by Rs 0.29) and diesel costs Rs 101.03/litre (up by Rs 0.37).

In other metros also such as in Chennai and Kolkata, Petrol prices have crossed the 100 mark with petrol at Rs 101/litre in Chennai and at Rs 105/litre in Kolkata. Diesel prices are nearing the 100 mark in both these metros with current prices at Rs 97.59 and Rs 96.28 in Chennai and Kolkata respectively.

Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates daily, taking into account crude and rupee-dollar rates in international markets. Any changes come into effect from 6 am every day.
